CASE
STUDIES ON INNOVATION
BOE prepared a set of case studies for the Human Dimension Working
Group of the National Innovation Summit. The case studies specifically
considered the attributes, skills and approaches of individuals
and organisations to innovation.
We addressed four sets of considerations:
- Characteristics, capacities and skills
the individual innovator brings to the innovation;
- The strategic achievements and aspirations
of the innovator - the extent to which the innovator sets out
to create new value and be world competitive;
- How systematic the innovator is in their
approach to innovation, and the degree to which the process
of-innovation becomes embedded in the organisation's culture;
and
- The attributes of good innovation practices
within an organisation.
